I Corinthians 13:4-7
Charity suffers long, and is kind; charity envies not, charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up.
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil;
It rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
If I can learn to be charitable to others--to love them as Christ does, to not seek to take advantage of others or to think poorly of another, I will be much further ahead in my walk with the Lord.
Most importantly, I think is to believe in and hope for the best in others. To wait on the Lord and be patient--to not be quick to jump to conclusions about another person. It is God who knows the heart. Who am I to be the judge?
